download: Bare Bones Mp3 Player component (55.11KB) added: 01/08/2011 clicks: 643 description: Bare Bones Mp3 Player component is for use with swishmax 4 designed and made so you can easily make your own mp3 player with ease this all in 1 powerfull mp3 player component yet very small file size swf of under 50kb will let you endlessly produce different and stylish mp3 players everytime. |
This component was designed and built so people can design their own graphics and place the elements of this component in place where ever they wish.
you will need no scripting knowledge, all the colours etc can be changed in via the parameters.
you have the option to turn on/off the volume slider and also the track skip slider as well as the track counter. you also have the option to choose what buttons are visible for use.
for ease of use and to cut down on any problems at run time i suggest you have all relevent files in the same directory.

Ideas, a couple of players i quickly made with this component to give you some idea of what you can do with the component yourself.
just create your skin and drag your elements into place over your skin.

No matter what I write in Maximum Tracks(ex. 2 or 12), it only plays 4.
I have the latest build of Swishmax 4. Can You help me?

after looking at the script in the the parameters, i have found an error, this error has now been fixed and a new zip file replaces the old one, please download the new zip file and replace the old component with the new one, thanks for pointing this out.

Thank you craig, I recieved the email. I’m hoping it’s not a silly question but when I installed it into swishmax 4 the player doesn’t show in the components section. I am running windows 7 64bit. Would this likely to be the problem.

open the swi file with swishmax 4.
the file save as component, choose where you want to save in the components folder, then close swishmax 4 down, the next time you open swishmax 4, the component will be where you saved it previously ready to drag onto the stage.

Thank you Craig. I just wanted to let you know that it’s working very well and it’s great to have a player that I can design my own skins. I was wondering if it is possible to add some script or something so that the player doesn’t automatically start. Thank again Craig, love your work.
